Mr. Nirav Limbasiya

Mr. Nirav Limbasiya is a Senior Consultant at ToxMinds India Consulting Pvt. Ltd., specialising in the human health hazard and risk assessment of cosmetic ingredients and chemical substances. With over 15 years of toxicology experience and expertise in regulatory toxicology, he provides valuable support to ToxMinds concerning cosmetic and consumer products.
Before joining ToxMinds, Nirav spent nearly 15 years at Kenvue (previously Johnson & Johnson, consumer division). He has worked across various roles, developing hazard profiles and risk assessments for ingredients and impurities, and conducting product safety assessments. His expertise includes preparing non-clinical sections of regulatory dossiers, such as the Investigator’s Brochure and Company Core Data Sheet, utilizing new approach methodologies, and employing in silico/predictive toxicology, particularly the OECD QSAR Toolbox. He is skilled in literature search, data analysis, and scientific writing. Nirav was instrumental in rolling out, maintaining, and updating Quick Tools and Databases for comprehensive safety assessments of products and chemicals. As a qualified Safety Assessor, he has authored and reviewed Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR) for the EMEA region to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance. He has also been Subject matter expert for IT/digital needs and solutions.
Nirav is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) and a European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) with a M.S. (Pharm.) in Regulatory Toxicology from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, India.
